Service areasWhere we paint.
Guiffre’s paints homes throughout the five Grosse Pointes and across Metro Detroit. In more than 37 years, Bob Guiffre has painted more than 1,800 homes in the area — and his son, Bobby, works beside him on every project.
The Grosse Pointes
Five communities, one shoreline.
From the Park in the south to the Shores in the north, each of the Pointes has its own mix of homes — and its own painting needs.
Grosse Pointe Park
Grosse Pointe Park mixes grand homes with older houses built close together. Each asks something different of paint, and of the people putting it on.
Painting in Grosse Pointe Park02City of Grosse Pointe
In the City, houses stand close together and people pass them on foot. Paint here is judged at arm’s length, so the details carry the job.
Painting in City of Grosse Pointe03Grosse Pointe Farms
Period-revival homes are full of trim, and trim is where paint lasts or fails. In Grosse Pointe Farms, that detail also meets the wind off Lake St. Clair.
Painting in Grosse Pointe Farms04Grosse Pointe Woods
The Woods is where the Pointes’ mid-century building years show most. Its post-war houses need a different plan than an early-20th-century Tudor, starting with the siding.
Painting in Grosse Pointe Woods05Grosse Pointe Shores
At the northern end of the Pointes, big lakefront homes take Lake St. Clair’s wind and weather head-on. Paint there needs a maintenance plan, not just a start date.
Painting in Grosse Pointe Shores+Metro Detroit
From early-20th-century homes to post-war brick bungalows and ranches, Metro Detroit’s houses share a handful of painting needs. If your home is outside the Pointes, tell us where it is.
Painting across Metro DetroitLet’s talk about your home.
Tell us a little about the project and we’ll be in touch to talk it through and set a time to see it.
